UX Engineer, Design
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As a UX Design Engineer at CareCru, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating insightful and intuitive interfaces for the CareCru platform. The CareCru platform is diverse and interacts with multiple types of users through its web, mobile and desktop applications - giving you plenty of opportunities to apply your abilities to the fullest. You will be at the forefront of feature-planning, bringing ideas to life through modern tools.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Building and maintaining the designs of the entire CareCru platform in Sketch Ensuring a completely consistent design system across all applications that make users feel at home Bringing these designs to life through animations or interactive tools like Invision Listening to requirements closely and producing mockups that meet the requirements Advising front-end engineers on UI implementation best practices Validating designs against the constraints of HTML & CSS Having a deep knowledge of accessibility standards and staying ahead of the curve Not being shy to beg, borrow, and steal ideas or inspiration from applications that you love Supporting multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines Propose changes and updates to the current design system/UIs in production Design for mobile, desktop and web in a consistent way YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES
A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Design,HCI,Computer Science, Engineering or some equivalent combination of education and experience 3+ years designing/prototyping interfaces Developing UIs that are apart of a web platform Being fluent in modern design tools like Sketch Working with Agile methodology Maintaining a portfolio of work-to-date that shows off what you have done (should be submitted with application) YOUR NICE-TO-HAVES INCLUDE
Experience with React or other popular Javascript component frameworks Experience writing HTML & CSS to craft beautiful user interfaces Knowledge of agile methodologies Built a UI style guide for a cross-platform service/company Abilities with digital illustration WHAT WE OFFER
